Where I Stand
Let me start by introducing myself as owner/ founder of Para Precision Printing & Prototyping Frank Mennella. Para Precision may still be young, since it wasn’t till recently that I decided to transform into my own recognizable biasness entity, I not only have many years experience in the manufacturing…. I grew up in it.
My family owns a machine shop/ plastic injection molding factory. I used to spend a couple hours after school in my mothers office, so it isn’t an exaggeration when I say I grew up in it. As I matured I eventually gained more responsibilities. For example meeting with customers and engineers for various reasons. It wasn’t long until they started contracting me in for short periods of time to help with different projects and/or repairs. Between that and college (Penn State for 3 years 2 associates degrees) I became very well rounded in almost every aspect of the manufacturing industry.
Unfortunately my life of traveling and free lancing came to an abrupt halt when I was involved in a serious accident. Unfortunately becoming paraplegic made it very difficult in pursuing a career in a career in one of my many skill sets, each for their own reasons. I quickly started scrambling for a solution I was 2 years into my recovery and was loosing my mind of boredom; never have I thought I would be begging to get back to work.
Paperwork and phone calls were never my thing, I have always been hands on. I was attending a training class for CAD software and was given a tour of the 3D printing department…. It clicked. I ran a plastic injection shop and worked in the tool making shop as well; It was ther perfect combination of the 2. There is nothing heavy to lift without having to dtrain yo reach or inspect anything I couldn’t ask for more. My ties and experiance in the manufacturing industry only sweyed my decision further. Needless to say Para Precision Printing & Prototyping was created and is here to provide you with professional quality services.
